Alivian Jorgensen
"Coach J"
Director and Defensive Coordinator
Coach J is originally from Charlottesville, Va where she attended Albemarle High School. At Albemarle, Coach J was a two-sport athlete and loved basketball just as much as lacrosse. Coach J captained both her basketball and lacrosse teams and received the Vander Castle Award given to the most outstanding female athlete. Coach J went on to play lacrosse at James Madison University and graduated cum laude in 2000 with a degree in psychology and a minor in coaching. As a student-athlete at JMU, Coach J was a two-time All-American and All-CAA defender in 1999 and 2000, as well as being named an Academic All-American. During her career at JMU, the Dukes appeared in four NCAA tournaments, including a trip to the Final Four in 2000. Coach J was a captain for the Dukes and named to the NCAA All-tournament Team in 2000. In 2010, Coach J was named to the CAA Silver Anniversary Team.
"Coaching is in my bones." Coach J's passion for coaching started in 2000 when she was an assistant women's lacrosse coach at Virginia Tech (2000-2002). She continued her career as a collegiate assistant coach at North Carolina (2003-05) and later at The University of Denver (2011-12). Before heading west, Coach J was a head coach for the Capitals Lacrosse Club, an Athletic Director at The Academy of the Holy Cross(2008-09) and the Assistant Athletic Director and head girl’s lacrosse coach at The Holton-Arms School (2005-08).
Coach J is the founder of Urban Elite and Electras Lacrosse and is currently the Assistant Director of Admissions at Regis Jesuit High School. Coach J resides in Central Park with her husband, Eric and two children, Michael and Amelia. Amelia currently plays on the 2029 Urban Elite Team.

Allie Emala Poos
Offensive Coordinator
Allie grew up in Baltimore, MD. Allie was a three-sport athlete playing lacrosse, field hockey, and basketball at Bryn Mawr School. She was fortunate to play 4 years of varsity lacrosse under one of the most successful high school coaches, Wendy Kridel. Allie went on to play Division I college lacrosse at Virginia Tech. During her career atVirginia Tech, she received the Division I NCAA Statistical Champion in Draw Controls (2010), All - ACC Women’s Lacrosse Team (2011), Most Valuable Player for the Virginia Tech Women’s Lacrosse Team (2010 and 2011) and was named to the 3rd Team All-American by SynapseSports.com (2011).
After graduating in 2011, Allie moved on to coach girls at both high school and college levels. She first coached all ages at Bedford Girls’ School in England and then went on to Division I college coaching at Stony Brook University. For the last 5 years, Allie has coached at the high school level. She most recently was an assistant coach for one of the most successful high school programs in the country, St. Stephens and St. Agnes School in Alexandria, Virginia. Allie had the opportunity to coach under one of the best and most experienced coaches in women’s lacrosse, Kathy Jenkins.
Currently, Allie is coaches both field hockey and lacrosse at Colorado Academy. She continues to nurture her passion for coaching by working with student athletes to help them reach their highest lacrosse potential.
In her free time Allie loves being newly married to Greg, exercising, running, hiking, spending time with their puppy, Parker and
being outside.

Layne Voorhees
Defensive Midfield Coordinator
Layne, a native of Alexandria, VA graduated from St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School in 2013 where she played lacrosse, tennis and basketball. As a midfielder, she earned all-state honors her senior season. She then went on to play four years at the University of Denver graduating in June of 2017.
Transitioning from midfield to defense, Layne was a four year starter for Denver and started all 85 games. She was a Second Team All-MPSF selection as a freshman and was a two-time First Team All-MPSF member as a sophomore and junior prior to Denver’s transition to the BIG EAST for 2017 where she was a unanimous All-BIG EAST first-team selection. Layne was awarded team MVP after her junior and senior seasons. Her senior season, she was voted a captain, led the conference in caused turnovers (39), caused turnovers per game (2.44), and was fourth in ground balls per game (2.50). She was a selection for the IWLCA First Team All-West/Midwest Region. She also became the fourth pioneer in school history to record 100 caused turnovers over the course of her career.
Layne now works in Commercial Real Estate as an analyst for CBRE. Layne enjoys spending time with her fiance, James, skiing, hiking, playing pickle ball, tennis, and golf.

Elsa is a senior at Regis Jesuit High School and has been a varsity lacrosse starter since she arrived her freshman year. Elsa also plays for the 2022 180 Club Lacrosse Team and is a member of the Regis Jesuit Varisty State Champsionship Field Hockey Team. Not only does Elsa thrive as an athlete, but she also excels in the classroom, making her the ultimate role model for our young women.
Urban Elite is excited for Elsa to bring her steady, yet passionate nature to the team. After seeing Elsa in action, there is no doubt she will take on the role as a Stick Skill Whisperer. Her skills are top notch, as well as her ability to coach them! Elsa has the ability to coach both ends of the field and does not have just one specialty. After playing for 13+ years she is excited to share her knowledge with the next generation!

Bricín Mahoney

Bricín comes from a long tradition of lacrosse players and currently attends Kent Denver School in Cherry Hills Village, CO. Bricín excels as a student-athlete, and is as dedicated to her academics as she is to her game. In Bricín's freshman year she received All-Conference honors in cross country and was First Team All-League in lacrosse, as well as lettered in field hockey. In her rookie season, Bricín led her high school lacrosse team in goals, points, and groundballs. Her dynamic presence on the field makes her one of the most threatening 2024's in the country. She was elected to play on the 2021 3d National Team and on the 2021 Mad Dog National Team.
If Bricín is not dominating on the field or in the classroom, she is most likely giving back to the sport of lacrosse and officiating. Bricín also enjoys skiing and spending time with her family. Urban Elite looks forward to Bricín bringing her leadership and experience to our program.

Sophie Miles
2030 Coach and 2029/28 Skills and Shooting Coach
Sophie is a sophomore at Regis Jesuit High School where she plays both field hockey and lacrosse. Sophie is also a member of the 2024 Pride Club Lacrosse Team and has spent the last 10 yr dedicated to this wonderful game.
Sophie jumped into coaching for Urban Elite this summer and immediately made a positive impact with her knowlege, passion for the game, and natural ability to connect with young girls. Sophie is a natural leader and coach and is able to translate her abilities in a way that players understand. She will be focusing on the skill development of our athletes, especially in regards to precision and power with shooting.
When Sophie isn't rocking it on the lacrosse field she is studying about our oceans, surfing, skiing, and spending time with her family, friends, and beloved dog, Goose. We are extremely exctied to welcome Sophie to the Urban Elite family!

Riglie Reeves
Sports Performance Coach
Riglie graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science from Colorado State University with a concentration in Health Promotion. Riglie has been a performance coach with Landow Performance for the past four years. She is also MAT Lower Body Certified, which allows her to work with a diverse set of athletes.
Riglie has worked with youth, high school, collegiate, and professional athletes, including athletes who play rugby, baseball, softball, field hockey, lacrosse, and track and field teams. Not to mention, Riglie also works with Mixed Martial Arts combat athletes and helps out with NFL Combine training. Riglie is one of the four outstanding performace coaches who are contracted with Regis Jesuit High School to coordinate and oversee all boys and girls sports performance training. Riglie can also be found on coaching on the rugby field! Riglie's mission is simple, her goal is to provide every person with an environment that is motivating and successful in helping them reach their fitness goals in life or sports.
We are thrilled Riglie will be bringing her leadership, athletic experience, passion for health and wellness, and her wealth of knowledge as a sports performance coach to Urban Elite.
