Summer League Format
North Division - This division will be open to all entering grades 9th-11th. The session will start with 15min of intense stickwork, and the additional 45 min will be dedicated to scrimmaging in a "street ball" format which helps develop field sense. It's will be a fun way to stay in shape and an opportunity to bridge the gap between middle school and high school.
South Division - This division will be open to all entering grades 6th-8th: The session will start with 15min of intense stickwork, and the additional 45 min will be dedicated to scrimmaging in a "street ball" format which helps develop field sense, staying in shape and bringing together all who may be playing in middle school together.
East Division - This division will be open to all entering grades 4th-5th. The session will start with 15min of intense stickwork, and the additional 45 min will be dedicated to scrimmaging in a 7v7, smaller field format. This division is perfect for players who are already mastering passing and catching, as well as defensive concepts.
West Division - This division will be open to all entering grades 3rd-4th. The session will start with 15min of intense stickwork, and the additional 45 min will be dedicated to scrimmaging in a 7v7, smaller field format. There will be more instruction than the north, south and east divisions as most of these players are still understanding both offensive and defensive concepts. This division is perfect for the player who has been playing under 1-2yrs and still developing the basic skills of passing and catching.
Learn the Game - This division is open to all entering 2nd-4th grade with little or no competitive experience. The first 30 min will be dedicated to developing skills and the second half will incorporate both game concept, rules and competitive play appropriate to the athletes.
Boys Division - The boys division has limited spots and will be open to boys entering grades. This session will be dedicated to boys learning the basic skills, as well as defensive concepts and team play. It is a great opportunity to pick up your stick once a week and have some fun!
Refund Policy
The league fee is nonrefundable. Therefore, if you end up not attending as many sessions as originally predicted, you would not receive your money back. Level of participation is up to the athlete; however, to make the league successful we do encourage participants to attend sessions when their schedules allow. We will be able to credit your account for the fall if an unforeseen circumstance were to arise and this would be communicated on an individual basis.
