New Summer League Format
Gold Division - This division will be open to all entering grades 8th-10th. The session will start with 15min of intense stickwork, and the additional 45 min will be dedicated to scrimmaging in a "street ball" format which helps develop field sense. It's will be a fun way to stay in shape and an opportunity to bridge the gap between middle school and high school. We are opening this division up to all 7th-8th grade lacrosse players in the area, as well as rising freshmen and sophomores at Northfield, East and other surrounding high schools.
Silver Division - This division will be open to all entering grades 6th-7th: The session will start with 15min of intense stickwork, and the additional 45 min will be dedicated to scrimmaging in a "street ball" format which helps develop field sense, staying in shape and bringing together all who may be playing in middle school together.
Bronze Division - This division will be open to all entering grades 3rd-5th. The session will start with 15min of intense stickwork, and the additional 45 min will be dedicated to scrimmaging in a 7v7, smaller field format. There will be more instruction than the silver and bronze division as most of these players are still understanding both offensive and defensive concepts.
Learn to Play - This division is open to all entering 3rd-4th grade with little or no competitive experience. The first 30 min will be dedicated to developing skills and the second half will incorporate competitive play appropriate to the athletes.
Refund Policy
The league fee is nonrefundable. Therefore, if you end up not attending as many sessions as originally predicted, you would not receive your money back. Level of participation is up to the athlete; however, to make the league successful we do encourage participants to attend sessions when their schedules allow. We will be able to credit your account for the fall if an unforeseen circumstance were to arise and this would be communicated on an individual basis.
