"Little Generals" 1st-2nd grade skill development program, 6 week program
Dates: April 11th/12th - May 16th/17th
Times: Mondays or Tuesdays, 4:45pm-5:45pm
Location: Jet Stream Park in Stapleton
Registration Fee: $115 + $25 US Lacrosse membership fee for new participants

Description: The 1st-2nd program will focus on the fundamentals of lacrosse. These basic fundamentals include ground balls, stick protection and cradling, passing, catching and shooting. We will be using indoor, softer balls to reduce the risk of injury. This program will emphasize the importance of teamwork, leadership and self-esteem.
U9 (typically 3rd grade), 1 practice per week, weekend games
Dates: Week of March 21st-Week of May 9th, NO practices March 28th-April 1st

U9 Blue Coach:
Description: The U9 program will compete in the CGLA and will have weekly practices. Games will be on Saturdays, April 9th-May 7th. The CGLA end of season tournament will be on May 14th/15th. The format of competition will be 7v7 and the games will be on a modified field, with no checking. This program will focus on the fundamentals and basic team concepts of lacrosse. These basic fundamentals include ground balls, stick protection and cradling, passing, catching, and shooting. The basic team concepts include team defense, team attack, full-field transition and the draw control. The program will emphasize the importance of teamwork, leadership, and competitive play. Fees include jersey, field rentals, CGLA league fee and coaching stipends.
